So far in the story seems to say that Gregory and it’s friends are stuck in a « simulation » of their original world and some of them being fake, it seems like Avy and Frisk still remembers what happend, Sans seems to have met the « Narrator », the « Narrator » is not just a simple narrator which the job is to keep the story in order this one seems to be forced to do this but is trying to rebel against whatever is trying to control this story, at frist Sans and Frisk were only looking for someone named Chara but when Gregory met this person he’s been killed but brought back to life by an entity who named themselves James in which « Nishino » knows about.
